When did he get so big? I want time to stop. I love him just as he is right now, and I don't ever want this age to go away. I love his personality, his independence, his fake cheese smile that he always does now when I take pictures, his serious face, I love it all. Okay, okay, I know I'm biased, but I don't care. I also love this picture spot I found on our way home from shopping, that I made Ryan pull over to the side of the road so I could take pictures. Fall in Texas is sorta rad, I have to admit. Stay tuned for more pictures from photo shoots, I'm playing catch up.

Pumpkins
The week we left for Texas we picked pumpkins. Not at a big fancy pumpkin patch, but at our very own cute little garden. My planted one little pumpkin plant and we got 4 huge, carvable, normal sized pumpkins and two baby pumpkins. My mom gave 3 of the pumpkins away to neighbors, and then saved one for her and Jack to carve. Jack had been waiting all summer to pick one, so he had so much fun.
Jack's 3rd Birthday
I can't even believe my little baby Jack is 3! Seriously where does time go? Here are some pictures from his birthday. We had some family over for pirate cake and to play. Love you Jack! Now, stop growing up! I want you to stay 3 forever.
Showing uncle Derek his Spider man mask.Derek wearing the present he got for Jack. (He used to have the same exact thing when he was little. It doesn't quite fit now).
The adorable pirate cake my mom made for Jack. It was really delicious too.
When we sang Happy Birthday to Jack he got a little shy, but he loved it, and he was a champ at blowing out his 3 candles.
Jack, and his bestie Elle. They've been together since birth and are more like brother and sister, which I love. Now that we live in Texas, I don't know what Jack is going to do without her.
And last but not least, Jack and Derek hanging out in the kitchen and Derek letting Jack do things that we don't let him do...like sit on the counter and lick frosting off the uneaten cake with his fingers. That's why uncles are the best right?

Maddie & Baby Quinn
These two cuties are my friend's, since I was 5, little girls. Kristy and I grew up together, living across the street from each other, and spending almost every day together. She is one of those friends that you maybe don't see for a long time, but when you do get back together it's like you were never apart. Now she has two gorgeous little girls, Maddie & Quinn. Maddie is like a perfect clone copy of what Kristy looked like when she was little...so cool. I wonder what it's like to have a mini me? Anyway, she recently had baby #2, and I got to take pictures of her kids while I was visiting our home town where she lives. Quinn was such a good little baby and slept the whole second half of the shoot, and by then Maddie had warmed up to me too. I had so much fun hanging out at Kristy's house, visiting, and taking pictures of her girls. I can't wait to see her again soon hopefully!
Sydney & Sophie
Here's two more totally adorable 8 year olds who had me take some pictures of them in their baptism dresses. I mean, it seriously doens't get much better than this...turning 8, feeling so grown up, getting to wear a gorgeous white dress, and then getting to model it. I had so much fun with both of these girls, getting to know them better and taking their pictures all around Daybreak. You may remember Sydney from when I did her family shoot last year before Christmas.
The W Family
Catching up again. This shoot was from earlier this summer. You may remember this adorable little girl from an earlier shoot I did of her when she was a baby. Hannah turned 1 this year, so I got to take more pictures of her and her family. She was so fun and not scared of the camera at all. And those baby blues she's got are killer. Lucky girl!
